Workshop talking stick
With the Indians, the talking stick or talking stick was used during the council of elders or tribal elders. This council met when important matters had to be discussed or decided in the village. It is a power tool for making conscious contact with the spirit guides and it gave the one speaking the opportunity to be heard uninterrupted. The speaker thus experienced complete freedom to speak and could remain more aware of what he wanted to say, from the heart. By making a talking stick you enter into a creative process, where you (re)discover and empower yourself in expressing your thoughts and feelings (with the help of your spirit guides).
I have all kinds of feathers, beads, charms, paint… to decorate your talking stick, but of course you can also bring your own personal accessories.
